Crazy Summer!

I can't believe I have gone so long without an update.. I am posting some pictures from July and our family vacation. My family was up here for a week and it was great spending time with them. The kids really enjoy all the attention. Griffin had his fill of my mom's famous cinnamon rolls. My father in law retired in July so my inlaws have officially moved back to Maine to enjoy their retirement. Griffin's daycare was closed for 2 weeks so we took a family vacation for 1 week and my nieces came up to stay with him the second. He loves having them around. It makes him feel like a big kid. Nora is going to be 1 in just 15 days. That first year has gone by so fast. I can't believe it. She is such a sweetie though. Her smile is contagious. Her caregiver, Evie said this morning that she smiles with her eyes and it really is true. She will just look at you and your heart melts. She is into everything let me correct myself, into everything she isn't supposed to be in! She loves the cabinet under the sink, the tub in the bathroom and stairs, she can't get enough of stairs. The kids and I are heading to Ct to celebrate Nora's birthday towards the end of the month, so I am really looking forward to that, not the driving part though. Then we are off to RI to visit with Christine and her family at the ocean. And we are hoping to get to Ogunquit for a day because Griffin has so much fun playing in the waves with his Grammie and Poppa. Then Griffin starts back to school in September. He has enjoyed summer break. They have taken so many exciting fieldtrips, I will try to get the pictures and post them. They went to animal farms, the circus, the zoo, the water park, horseback riding, on a trolley. They toured a candy store, pet store, grocery store and had a hawaiian luau. The list goes on and on. They do 4 field trips a week and the kids have a blast. Hopefully I will get on here again soon, but enjoy the pictures for now.
