A few after Christmas get togethers

Just a few pics over the past couple days. Friday we visited with some friends of Andrew's from the lake. The little girl's name is Braelyn she is 2 weeks older than Griffin, but much taller. Friday afternoon Unkie came up to visit and Griffin was so happy to have another person to play with. Today we went to Andrew's Uncle David's house for a McCarthy get together. Griffin was exhausted after playing with all his cousins. He didn't have an after noon nap but was a trooper the whole time. You can see how hard he crashed on the way home.

Christmas & More

Here is a picture from my work Christmas party where Andrew played Santa. He did a great job and the kids loved him. Beth and my mom came up on Tuesday Night. We had a great night Christmas Eve and Christmas morning together. Griffin was so cute. He was a little tired but he opened up all his presents and was excited about every one of them. He really can't decide which he likes the most, Elmo, his piano, his fireman rainboots or his shoes that squeek when you walk. I have a video I have to upload, it is so funny. The shoes will probably be annoying but I will definately know what he is up to. Uncle Paul is coming up tomorrow to visit and then will take my mom back to Ct on Saturday. We will be celebrating with Andrew's family over the weekend. It was a great week.

Another snowy weekend!

A few things

Where to start... We lost power friday morning because of the ice storm and finally got it back by dinnertime. We lost it about 3 more times over the weekend for hours at a time. We spent a few hours at the camp (they had power), or visiting friends with heat. Griff was a little bummed about not being able to help daddy snowblow the driveway. I really like the picture of him yelling at Andrew from the window. He has started to be a little more adventurous. He tries to stand up on everything. Surprisingly he has good balance. He is working on his animal sounds. He now knows cow, dog, cat and bear. He has been real good with the Christmas tree. He does like the soccer ball ornament but only to point at it and say "ball". I had to include the pictures with the oreos, they are a little gross but he loved them.

First Snow of the Season

We had our first snow of the season. We only got about an inch or so but Griffin was real cute. He went outside and yelled at the dogs and followed them around the yard. Friday Night I put Griffin's hair in a ponytail, Andrew didn't think it was funny or cute. I on the otherhand thought he looked adorable. It was a relaxing weekend. One we all needed!

Growing up so Fast!

We are constantly amazed by how much Griffin is learning everyday.
He has started coloring at daycare. He is learning sign language. He has started to be more independent, especially when he doesn't want to do something. He has a few of his favorite books, and if you ask him to go get you one to read, he brings it back.

He has a great appetite, even though he is still a little peanut. We have started giving him vanilla eggnog hoping that fattens him up a little. He tried to put on my coat the other night, Andrew was helping him. He looked so cute, there was this little head and nothing else. He tried to walk and flopped on the ground in a big puff! He has such a great personality. He has finally caught up on all the sleep he missed over Thanksgiving. Now if only I can. These aren't the best pictures but still cute. Hoping to take some more pics and a video over the weekend.
