Grandma & Unkie Visit!

Griffin was given a clean bill of health from his dr on friday. However they would like us to consult a dietician/nutritionist because he is not gaining enough weight. Andrew and I feel that it is because he has had 2 colds this season which has curbed his appetite. He is such an active little guy that it is no wonder that he isn't gaining enough. This was our first visit to our new pediatrician too so we think that he is just covering all the bases. We have a weight check in 3 months and we will do our best to fatten up the little guy!
Andrew had a tradeshow for work Friday and Saturday so my Uncle Paul and mother came to visit and keep us company. We had a great visit. Grandma bought Griffin his new trike, he is in heaven. He even likes wearing his helmet!! Saturday Afternoon Andrew's cousin Jaime and his daughters came to visit, we went outside to blow bubbles with the dogs. Finally a warm day! It rained a lot today, with any luck it will melt whats left of the snow.

18 months old!

Finally updating the blog, Griffin is talking more and more everyday. No words are safe! He is putting 2 and 3 words together. He carried on a conversation with Andrew on the cell phone the other day it was pretty cute. Andrew went snowmobiling a few weekends back and Griffin and I made a cake for Andrew's birthday. He was great! Check out the videos, I loved how he would move his head when he was mixing the batter. Too funny! He has become quite the little helper around the house. He loves to help with dinner and do the dishes.
He has gotten 2 molars so far this month and there are 2 others on there way. You can also see his 2 bottom teeth coming in. So now he will have 4 on the bottom and 4 on the top. The molars have been giving him a real hard time. Mild fever, runny nose and just uncomfortable, poor guy. On top of everything he managed to catch a little cold, from me, I know I am a terrible mother. But he is a trooper, he isn't letting it hold him back. We go for his 18 month check up Friday. Yes today he turned 18 months, we can hardly believe it. We are hoping that he has gained a few pounds but with his recent teething his appetite is hit or miss. We shall see.

Update Finally

Griffin is a running machine, he is all over the place and into everything. He is a little helper at daycare and home. He is talking up a storm putting little phrases together. And repeating a lot, like a little parrot. Thankfully they are all acceptable words! Here are a few pictures. He has gotten taller, he can now reach all the drawers in the the kitchen along with the door knobs, not quite tall enough to open them but he tries.
We took this picture last night while he was talking on the webcam to my mom in CT.
Our daycare provider sent us this picture, he put did this all by himself and was saying
"Go Car with Daddy" He is very into Andrew's snowmobile, he says it goes Vroom, Vroom.
