Nora Update

Okay so Nora is 6 weeks old this week, and she weighs 8 lbs and 13 oz. I am not sure how long she is now, but most one piece outfits barely fit her in the newborn size. But she is such a skinny mini that she doesn't fit into the 0-3 month stuff yet. She is very alert and active. She is always squirming around or moving her arms. She LOVES to be on her changing table.
Here are a few pictures that I have of her, they are mostly from the beginning of September... What can I say she is the second! I will try to take some this week and add more.

Just thought I would post the pictures we had taken in the hospital.

Okay I can now check off update blog on my to do list..... for now ;]

Griffin Turns 3!

Griffin had 4 birthday parties this year. He had a joint bowling party with his friends, it was a lot of fun., his good buddy Joe's birthday is 2 wks after Griff's and they have a lot of the same friends. So we combined the two, so we had 10 kids candlepin bowling, with cake, pizza and candy, not as chaotic as I anticipated. The only low point was when the pinata wouldn't break, next time we will opt for the one with the trap door at the bottom.

Trip to Ct

We went to Ct the weekend before Griffin's birthday to see my family, introduce Nora and celebrate Griffin's birthday. It was a busy weekend. It was great to see everyone and Griffin had so much fun with all his cousins. Griffin did have a night terror, which they are happening more often now, and are pretty freaky, but we got thru it. My grandfather had a chance to snuggle with Nora and chat with Griffin, who talks more than his mother!

First Day of PreSchool

Griffin started his new daycare/preschool in the beginning of September. He loves it!
He has swim classes every Monday and is loving the pool. They take field trips once a week, he has already been apple picking, touring the fire station, to the library for story hour and next week he is going to pick out a pumpkin. He has made a lot of friends. The teacher says that he has adjusted well, she said it seems like he has been there for months. He already knows all the routines and is participating with the others. I have gone to pick him up early a few times and he doesn't want to leave. The only downfall are the days that I have to take Nora with me when I have to drop him off or pick him up, she usually is asleep in the car when I leave the car. And when I return she is screaming, no fail, and with real tears talk about feeling guilty.
Griffin at his first day of PreSchool, look at his cool cubbie!

September at a Glance

I know, I know you have all been dying for an update....lol.. well it has taken me quite some time... alright more than a month but I am FINALLY updating the blog... I definitely don't have a lot of pictures of Nora, but she is the second child so I think it is a given right?

Here are some pictures of us from September, which was a busy month. We went mini golfing, race car driving ( you might have to look close Griffin is pretty easy to miss in the pics) boating, and to a couple birthday parties. Just to name a few things. But we are all doing well. Griffin has brought home another cold so we are trying to fight that. Nora is a great baby, she sleeps thru the night 6+ hours, which is a HUGE relief. Griffin has been testing us but from what I hear it is more of a 3 yr old thing rather than a "I have a new sister" thing. We are trying patiently not to trade him in just yet, but the whining is just relentless.
