Sunny Fall Day at the Lake

What a nice Sunday.. It was well deserved after the amount of rain we got on Saturday. We went to the lake and Griffin played outside with his good buddy, Joe on their tractors and tricycles. They are replacing the bridge over the lake so every time we go there we have to walk up and see the progress they are making and of course the heavy equipment.
So exciting!!

New Gloves!

Griffin looked so mature with his new hat and gloves on this morning, I couldn't help but snap a picture.

Fire Truck Visits School!

Griffin was all excited that the Fire Truck was visiting his school. It is Fire Prevention week at school and they met the local firemen and learned all about their firetruck. Griffin has been having a great week at school.

Griffin's New Bike!

Griffin got a new bike from his grammie and poppa for his birthday. He still prefers his tricycle because it is familiar and he can pedal backwards plus he has the pedalling mastered. he is about an inch too short for his new bike but he will get there. We call it his dirt bike because it is like Travis Pastrana's dirtbike, who he thinks is really cool. Here is a video of his first ride, I must warn you it is not the best. You will also notice his new trait, whining, it is a result of his being overtired. He doesn't get to nap as long as he needs at his new school. And bedtime is now a three ring circus act every night. We are trying to play catch up on the weekends with longer naptimes, letting him sleep in and early bedtimes but he isn't quite caught up yet. Starting to think that it is a never ending battle.

Friends Birthdays, Fair and More!

This was taken at the Cumberland Fair, we went to see the Rave X snowmobile show. The riders do tricks off of a big dirt and woodchip pile, it is pretty crazy. Griffin and Joe Loved it, of course.
Here are some pictures I have been harboring from our trip to Plymouth State. So many things have changed at Plymouth, but it still has that homey feel to it. It brought back so many good memories. We made a stop on the way home to see some friends at Newfound Lake. It is so beautiful this time of year.

Some pictures from Levi and Joe's Birthday parties. The boys had a great time playing together. All Joe wanted for his birthday was to play with Griffin and Levi and a Bike, I thought that was so cute.

Breakfast Time

Happy Friday!
Just thought I would post a picture from breakfast this morning. He was in such a good mood having breakfast. He loves his pancakes. He is doing much better going to school in the mornings. Still a little sleep deprived but we will continue to try to catch up on the weekends. I will take some video's this weekend and post them. I just upgraded the size of the blog so we won't have to use You Tube anymore. I hope! Hope everyone has a great day and weekend.

First Day of Sunny Days!

Griffin started a new day care towards the end of September. His previous daycare provider only takes the kids until they are 2 and all of the other kids were older and had left in August so he was with little babies and was ready for some kids his own age. It was a rough week to say the least. He was fine during all the interviews and trial runs but when it came to his first day it was anything but smooth. There were a lot of tears and sobbing. It took me 40 minutes to calm him down to a point I felt ok leaving him. They said that he was ok about 5 minutes after I left but it was still a very rough day. The days that followed weren't much easier but thankfully he has come around. We didn't have any doubts he would it was just hard leaving him so upset.

Maine Birthday Party

We had a great party for Griffin in Maine with all his friends and Andrew's family. Griffin had a lot of fun playing with his friends and cousins. Andrew's grandfather was visiting from California so he was able to come celebrate with us. Griffin is very lucky he has 2 great-grandfathers!
He absolutely loves his Gator Tractor. He rides it every day. He is actually a very good driver, he can pull it in and out of the garage. It is pretty interesting to watch. I will have to take a video.
