Spring Trip to Ct

It was a fun trip to Ct this past weekend, Griffin had a great time playing with all his cousins, aunts, uncles and the rest of the family. He had a lengthy conversation over pizza with my grandfather, his Pop Pop. It was cute to see the two of them interact, there is almost 80 years difference in their ages. My grandfather has a hard time understanding me sometimes but never Griffin.
We stopped into my mom's office for a surprise visit, I think that made her day! All the girls could put a face with all the stories they hear. Griffin had a tour of ESPN courtesy of his Uncle Ken. What was his favorite part? The helmets that are mounted on the hallways. It was funny to see him sitting on the set of Mike & Mike in the morning, saying "Cheese" The weather was beautiful, in the mid 70's every day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Griffin's school had a St. Patty's day party today at school! He has been celebrating all week! He has been going to the bathroom more and more on the potty, not a big fan of going at school but we will get there. He was in his big boy undies and no diaper the other night and kept them dry. He was so proud, he called his Poppa to share the news! Lucky Poppa I know! Griffin and I are headed to CT tomorrow for a long weekend, it has been a couple months since I have seen my family and they must be missing us! I am sure we will take some video's and pictures during our trip!

It's Almost Spring!

Griffin and I went out for breakfast on Saturday and then to the playground for some fresh air. It was great to get outside and play. Griffin had so much fun on the playscape. He is a little bigger than last year so he was really able to play on all the slides and climbing walls.
Our backyard was a little muddy so we opted to go to the school down the street. Tucker was in heaven to finally get out and run. I had my hands full with the two so this was the only picture I took. Sorry. Gunnar seems to have pulled something in his leg, not sure what or how but he stayed home to rest. We are hoping it isn't anything serious.

Brushing up on his Stroke!

Griffin is really into golfing lately. It might have to do with his visit from Uncle Ken and his cousins. Thomas and Griffin practiced a lot. The kids are so good with him. I have to say that Griffin is pretty good at hitting the ball. He seems to even try it leftie so that is good. He is becoming a well rounded athlete. Hoepfully he doesn't put a hole in the wall. We are going to have to take him mini golfing this summer. I think I might say "Good Job" too much, but what the heck!

Silly Boy!

So I think that Griffin has cabin fever b/c he goes around the house pretending that everything is a dirtbike, jet ski or snowmobile. Below is a cute video of him going for a ride. He thinks it's pretty cool when you stand up on them. I think the goggles are a riot. The last picture is of Griffin and Joe vegging out on the couch with his new favorite treat a yogurt push up. Good news though, we were able to play outside yesterday. Griffin was able to hit some balls off of his tee. He was pretty excited!

Sacked out!

Griffin's new bedtime routine consists of all of us sitting on his floor reading Snuggle Puppy and then he goes to bed with Gunny. Griffin likes to sleep on his floor now and eventually Gunny gets up and gets in his bed, if Griffin is still awake he will follow him! This is what we found last night. It is challenging to get Gunny out of bed without waking up Griffin the light sleeper. But at least he is going to bed at a decent hour. He still is getting up in the middle of the night, but usually he goes right back down, after Mommy goes in and covers him up.
And we reward him with stickers for staying in his room all night. It seems to be working, he gets all excited to pick them out in the morning and hang them on his chart.
Making strides no matter how small they are, it is progress.
