Outdoor Fun

Wow this weekend went by fast... Saturday Griffin and I went to the store to pick out some fabric to make curtains for his windows. We went with Lighting McQueen. We are also going to make a cover for his hamper out of Spiderman. Trying to make his new room exciting! He was so cute, trying to help me measure the fabric. Saturday Night Andrew and I went to his mother's retirement party! It was very nice. It was a late night and luckily Griffin behaved himself for Arlene. Sunday Andrew mowed the lawn and Griffin "helped" him on his gator. Now that he has grown a little he is able to ride his bike. He even tries standing up while pedaling, so cute. At times he has a hard time getting going but he has improved from when we first started. He will be riding bikes at the lake with his cousins and the neighbors in no time. He does have a real helmet which he usually wears but today prefered to wear one Andrew received when he was in high school as a class joke.
