Trick or Treating

What a fun night, we went trick or treating in our friends neighborhood.

They towed a bunch of us on a snowmobile trailer covered with hay behind a 4-wheeler. It was much warmer than I had anticipated. Griffin did great he kept his hat on the whole night.

It was a great time, can't wait until next year when he can walk by himself and I don't have to carry him. That must mean he is finally gaining weight!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Welcome Catherine Elizabeth!

Griffin has a new cousin, Catherine Elizabeth Conway. She was born Saturday at 4:16am weighing 3lbs 11oz and stetching 17 inches long. Despite her size she is healthy and strong. She wasn't due to come until Dec 1st. Catherine may come home from the hospital this week. All the tubes were removed yesterday and she will hopefully be leaving the NICU today.

Debra is doing great.

Congratulations to Debra and Chris, the fun has just begun.

Apple Picking

Griffin and I went apple picking Saturday with Claire and Scott. The view was picturesque and the colorful trees went on for as far as the eyes could see. Sunday, Andrew and I golfed in a tournament with David and Larry. It was freezing but great to be out on the course. I was thankful to relax in the hot tub when we got home.

The weekend went by way too fast.

Rocking Horse

Here is a video of Griffin enjoying his new rocking horse. He had been riding it during the day with Andrew so it was old news by the time I got home to see him.

Not the day we had hoped for but

We had a family portrait taken today. Griffin was not cooperating at all. His teeth were bothering him so his hands are in his mouth in practically every picture. And he is really into his tongue lately so that is in all the others. He fell apart towards the end of the photo shoot. We tried giving him some lunch and going back to check out the proofs and it went downhill fast. So we ended up leaving. We were the people who were carrying out the screaming child from the mall. We were supposed to go apple picking in the afternoon but that went out the window. After Griffin's well needed 3 hour nap we went to he playground. Andrew wasn't up for it so it was just the munchkin and me. Here are some pictures. We might try apple picking next weekend.

Great Weekend So Far

What a beautiful fall day! We went for a picturesque boat ride. The leaves are so colorful on the lake. Griffin took a little snooze on the ride which was a nice bonus. We played on the beach for a bit then visited with Levi and Joseph, who turned 1 today.
