Wow this weekend went by fast. It was pretty uneventful. Saturday Andrew and I installed our new garage door opener. I know very romantic! Griffin went for his first snowmobile ride around the yard. He enjoyed the ride but didn't like sitting on it when it wasn't going. So we think the noise was too much for him. Sunday Andrew's parents stopped by on their way home. Griffin was able to have some "Poppa time" so he was happy. And Monday Griffin and I hung out and played with his tunnel and firehouse. Griffin has 2 molars coming in so he isn't sleeping all that well but we are managing. Last weekend we had a playdate with Alyssa. They snuggled on Lyssa's couch and watched TV while enjoying a snack. It was so cute to see them playing. Alyssa is a take charge gal and Griffin seemed to do ok with it. They are going to be a lot of fun together this summer.

Back to Health!
Finally Griffin is back to his silly and happy self. Best of all he has his appetite back. He had lost 1.5 lbs while he was sick so we will try to get him bulked up again.
Andrew's dad was up and we all went snowshoeing
on the lake and pulled Griffin in his sled.
The weather was beautiful.

Sunday we went to Massachusetts for Catherine's christening.
It was a long day and Griffin was wiped by Sunday Night!.jpg)

The story of the never ending flu
Griffin has been fighting the flu for the past 2 weeks. He has given it to me and Andrew. What can we say he likes to share! Today he is finally almost back to his normal self. Still a little clingy but almost there. We never made it outside to go sledding last weekend but maybe Saturday. Here is a picture from daycare with all his buddies. It seems like one boy is looking for treasure!

My Apologies

clockwise from the top, Griffin, Connor, Paige, Massimo and Jacob.

For not updating the blog better. Griffin has been sick, it started late last week and carried through the weekend. My work had an awards dinner that Andrew and I were looking forward to attending, at least I was. We had a babysitter lined up and everything. Griffin's fever came back late Friday afternoon so that squashed our plans. I went late and Andrew took one for the team and stayed with the munchkin. He is on the mend now though. Here are some pictures the daycare woman shared with us. I am so lucky that she does that. It is great seeing her emails in my inbox, especially since he looks so happy. I like the one where is joining his friends at the table for lunch. We are supposed to get hit with a bad storm tomorrow. So hopefully we will be able to do some sledding over the weekend. The snowbank in the backyard should be HUGE by then as it is already about 4 ft tall now.

The weekend so far....
Saturday we celebrated Wyatt's 1st birthday. We were a little late because of Griffin's nap. It was great to see everyone and let the kids play. Wyatt is starting to walk more. He is such a cutie. Griffin and I had dinner at the McCarthy's. Henry brought out his guitar and drum and has a little jam session with Griffin. It was a fun night. Andrew went snowmobiling with his friends. We got about 17 inches of snow today. So Andrew is anxious to get out again. At least someone is happy about all the snow. Griffin and I are spending the day together tomorrow. I am hoping to get him out in the snow to try out his new sled. Hoping to post more pics and maybe a video tomorrow night. Stay tuned.
Here are some pictures from sledding with Lucy today. Griffin loved his sled.

Weekend in Connecticut
Andrew had a business trip to Wisconsin so Griffin and I went to Connecticut to visit family. The weather prevented us from going down for my family Christmas party and it postponed our trip home a few hours on Sunday. We had a great time visiting with our family and friends. A completely different trip then we had for Thanksgiving. Griffin was on his best behavior. He had a lot of fun being spoiled with whipped cream and chocolate frosting by his aunt and cousins.
He also has learned how to go down the stairs now.

Wyatt, Griffin and the Bobcat
This weekend Griffin had his first ride on heavy equipment, Uncle Mark's bobcat. He really didn't know what to think of it. He does like watching the video of himself though. Wyatt and Griffin had a lot of fun playing together. Wyatt will be a year old in a week and a half.
Funny to see how much bigger he is than Griff.
Griffin is starting his own one man band. He now has a piano, bells, tamborine and triangle. He loves to play with them all, can't quite get the triangle down but he is working on it.
