Extended Holiday Weekend

It was a great week, extending our holiday weekend Andrew and I spent Monday out on the lake. It was great. It wasn't the same without Griff but it was nice to be able to have some time to reconnect. On Wednesday we were able to have dinner with Ken and the kids on there way home from Northern Maine. Unfortunately our softball game was rained out Thursday. That is #7 so far this season, not looking forward to all the make-ups. The weekend weather was fabulous. Taking full advantage we went to the lake. Griffin is a big fan of the jet ski and loves to "go around the corner" for a ride. It is like the Dew Drop INN over there so Griffin always has someone to play with. He loves all the busy-ness. Griffin had a sleep over with Grammie and Poppa on Saturday Night. Sunday afternoon we played in the Pirate Ship. When it gets a little hotter I am hoping to have a few of his buddies over for a pirate party.

Fourth of July Weekend

The weekend was so much fun. We were able to briefly catch up with family and friends, some local and some visiting from out of state throughout the weekend. It was great. Griffin was able to play with his cousins. The sun finally came out of hiding. Although there was some nickel sized hail at the lake on Saturday we didn't let it ruin our good time. Griffin went for rides on the little boat, jet ski and then the big boat. I prefer the big boat for him b/c it puts him right to sleep!! We haven't gotten a chance to use Griff's new pirate ship pool but we did blow it up and play with some of the fun toys. So fingers crossed we will be in it this coming weekend. Hopefully with a few friends!! I will take a picture because it is HUGE. It looks like a lot of fun. Sunday was the best day weather wise, we spent the day on the lake with our friends, Becky and Andy and their daughter Lucy. The kids had a blast playing in the water at the sandbar at the state park. The only down side of the weekend was that Griffin didn't get to take all his naps so he was a little whiny by bedtime tonight.

Strawberry Picking, Carnival and Lake

Last weekend was action packed... Saturday morning Griffin and I went strawberry picking it was a lot of fun. Griffin had strawberry juice all over his face. He loves strawberries. In the afternoon we went to a kids carnival at the local church. Griffin had his first tattoo and then his second. Elmo on one arm and then Cookie Monster on his other. He told everyone about them. Later in the afternoon we went to the camp. Griffin went for his first ride on the jet ski... He had a blast! Griffin also had a chance to play with his birthday twin, Levi. They shared a whole box of cookies!! It was a great weekend! And finally great weather!! Check out the video below for Griffin on his tricycle.
