A Thanksgiving to Remember!

Well the trip down wasn't that bad, the traffic was light and the baby was okay. We arrived a little after 9 and he had fallen asleep the last 30 minutes and it was just enough to charge his battery. He didn't end up going to bed until 12:30. It was not fun. And it has been like that every night since. He isn't napping as great as he usually does. He really misses his daddy, who didn't make the trip with us. He was the center of attention at Turkey Day, food was fabulous, my lobster bisque was a hit! We met up with Greydan for a short playdate today and then dinner at Cindy's. We are heading home in the morning and I am looking forward to sleeping in on Sunday. I have already warned Andrew that I am taking the rest of the weekend off!!! Here's hoping the ride home is quiet and light on traffic.

Glad it's Monday!

The weekend started out ok with a playdate on Saturday with Levi and Tya. Griffin did ok considering that he didn't take a morning nap. He started to come apart so we high tailed it home to try to salvage his afternoon nap.

He was full of spit and vinegar when he woke up. He found the toilet paper dispenser, it was real cute.

Sunday was a day I wish not to have to relive. One of his molars is coming in and he was a monster. Would not take a nap and just a little unhappy man.

Getting ready for Bed

Griffin is really into reading lately. He tries so hard to say Book but it comes out Booo. He has Andrew read/sing him Snuggle Puppy about 30 times before I get home at night. So then it gets stuck in Andrew's head and he sings it during the day. It is the curse of Snuggle Puppy.

His bags are all packed. . . . .

This video is just too funny. Griffin has been walking around the house with this box all afternoon. The box is bigger than he is. I think I am going to wrap it for Christmas. He really does like the packaging more than what's inside.

And this is his "I just robbed a store in my jammies look" Hat provided by grandma! He is very into books right now. Especially the ones with textures.

This is one of his favorite books, it is about a monkey. He will go get it out of his bookcase and sit on your lap then flip through it. So sweet.

Weekend

What a great weekend! Action packed and full of family and friends.

We had a quick visit with Andrew's parents Friday and Saturday. Larry taught Griffin to play the piano (he loved it) and climb up the stairs. (still not sure that was the best idea) Saturday we spent the day with the Brown's and had a sleepover. Griffin and Avery played together and had a great time. They loved the interactive horse. Sunday we stopped by to meet Catherine Elizabeth on the way home. It was her first day home, she is so teeny and cute. I could have snuggled her all day.

Catherine Update

Catherine is doing great. She is up to 4 lbs 4 oz. She is a real good eater so she is growing and gaining weight. They are hoping she will be coming home this Sunday.
