First Haircut

Well Griffin went for his first haircut today. He did great, we just had her trim it up a little. He does look more mature. Then he enjoyed a chocolate munchkin. Tonight we went for ice cream at a Dairy Farm. It has a petting zoo. It was a great day!

11 months

Griffin is 11 months today, in just a few weeks he will turn one! He is close to walking and getting more confident every day. Andrew and I are in disagreement as to cutting his hair. I really like it long but Andrew says he looks like a " dirty hippie". Please answer the poll and let us know what you think.

Saturday we hung out around the house, Andrew had to work for a few hours so Griff and I had a picnic with the dogs and went in his pool. Then we went to the lake where he was able to play with the boys from the neighborhood. Levi who shares Griffin's birthday and Joseph who is a little younger. They had a fun time. Next year is going to be a lot of fun with the boys running around. Today we spent the day at out on the sandbar at the state park. Griffin hung out in his tube most of the afternoon. He loves going out on the boat, especially when it is rough, he laughs. Andrew buried his legs in the sand. It was a great weekend.

What a Vacation!

We had an uninvited friend join us for our vacation this year, Mr. Stomach Bug, he has managed to move through the whole family. So it wasn't the best vacation but it still was great to spend time together and chill out on the lake. Dave, Erin and Avery were able to come for a visit towards the end of the week. The kids had a fun time playing together. Andrew's grandfather is visiting from California so Griffin was able to meet him. He is pretty lucky having 2 great grandfathers.

Here are some pictures from when the sun actually came out earlier this week. I sat Griffin on the counter and he stole a cinnamon roll off of the cooling rack, then went back for another after he tasted it. It was so funny. He has been enjoying all the attention he is getting from his cousins.
