4 Months Old!

Well the little man is growing up fast.
He went for his 4 month checkup on Friday and he weighs 13lbs 11.5 oz (25%) length is 24.5 inches (50%) and his head was 17.5 inches (75%) We are starting him on cereal this week. The Doctor said that he is doing great.
He rolled over tonight while Andrew was playing with him on the floor. From his tummy to his back. I, of course, was not in the room and we tried to get him to do it again but he wouldn't.

Yes, the Bumbo is on the couch, however he was supervised. You have to do be resourceful when your husband can't get off the couch!

It is getting harder to get his picture because he stares into the camera now. And this is the face you get in every picture.

It took him a day to decide if he likes Apple juice, I think it's a YES!

Cute Face Griff!

Griff got to try out his new Exersaucer from his Auntie Cindy.

He loves all the bright colors.

He is just a bit to short to use his feet but

he still loves to sit and play with the toys.

Broken Daddy

Andrew broke his leg and sprained his ankle pretty bad a couple weeks back.

He is going for a permanent cast this coming Monday.

The swelling was too bad to do it last week as scheduled.

This cast is a partial compression cast so he can't put any weight on it.

So I have been playing Mommy and Nurse. We are managing.

Catching On!

Well we survived his first week of daycare full days. He is doing real good with the bottle. On Friday, he took 3 ounces from Arlene (daycare provider) and then tool 2.5 in the afternoon. Andrew gave him a bottle in the evening and he took 3 ounces from him. So we are finally breathing a sigh of relief. He is napping at daycare and is pretty worn out when he comes home. I guess he loves to watch the older kids play.

He is going to bed around 9 and sleeping about 5 hours before he gets up to be fed. I am starting to actually get a little bit of sleep. I am so much happier. Here are some pictures of Griffin in his Bumbo seat which he thinks is just so much fun. He loves to laugh, we are having so much fun together!

Day Care

Well this is his first week going full days. Monday wasn't the best day. Griff had only taken 2.5 oz as of early afternoon and was totally refusing it, but then finally gave in around 4 and took another 2.5 oz. The pediatrician said that it is okay if he doesn't take a bottle during the day as long as he makes up for it at night. And that he did. But he did sleep real well at night, only got up for 1 feeding. So I finally was able to catch up on a little sleep.

So we will see what today holds. When I called at ten he was just waking up and she hadn't tried to feed him yet. I haven't heard anything yet and it has been 3 hours so I am thinking positive.

Play Date with Greydan and Francis

Here are a few pictures from Griffin's first playdate. This is his cousin's Greydan who is 2 and a half weeks younger and Francis who is 15 months. They are both about the same size. Griffin has some growing to do!

His eyelashes are all curly. He is so sweet.

Francis was such a good big cousin she shared her toys and

was very gentle with the boys.
